Trust Wallet to naira

Move crypto from Trust Wallet to a Nigerian bank account

Open Trust Wallet, send the coin to your Monica deposit address on the matching network, and the naira is paid to any Nigerian bank on NIBSS within 60 seconds of the network confirming. No swap, no P2P buyer, no chat. Monica never sells crypto; it only turns the coins you already hold into naira.

Five steps, one screen each

There is no sell button in Monica and you never type an amount. The coin arrives from Trust Wallet, the naira goes out to your bank. The same five screens work for USDT, BTC, ETH, BNB, USDC, SOL and TRX, and you do not need the swap feature in Trust Wallet to get there.

ScreenWhat you do
01

Copy the deposit address in Monica

Open the Monica app, tap the coin you hold in Trust Wallet, choose the network and copy the deposit address. Each coin has its own permanent address, so the same one works every time you send.

02

Open the same coin in Trust Wallet

On the Trust Wallet home screen, tap the coin. USDT appears as a separate token for each network, so tap the one whose network matches what Monica showed, for example Tether USD on the TRON network for TRC20.

03

Tap Send and paste your Monica address

Tap Send, paste the Monica address into the recipient field and enter the amount. Check the first four and last four characters of the address against the Monica app before you go on.

04

Confirm and pay the network fee

Trust Wallet shows the network fee before you confirm. It is paid in the native coin of that chain, so you need a little TRX for TRC20, BNB for BEP20 or ETH for ERC20. Confirm with your passcode or fingerprint.

05

Wait for the network to confirm

Monica credits the naira as soon as the network confirms the transfer and pays it to your bank within 60 seconds of the network confirming. Tron and BNB Smart Chain usually confirm within minutes; Bitcoin takes longer.

Naira reaches your bank within 60 seconds of the network confirming
Leg 02Before you send

Before you press send

Trust Wallet is a self custody wallet: it holds the keys, you hold the coins, and nobody can pay naira into your bank from inside it. The bank payout happens after the coins leave Trust Wallet and reach Monica. Four things to check first.

Network

Which network?

Trust Wallet lists USDT on several networks, each as a separate token: TRON (TRC20), BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), Ethereum (ERC20) and Solana among them. Monica shows the networks it accepts for each coin in the app and on the supported networks page. Bitcoin moves on the Bitcoin network and ETH on Ethereum. For USDT and BNB, choose the same network in both apps. The wrong network page explains what can and cannot be recovered if you slip.

Cost

What it costs

Trust Wallet does not charge its own fee for sending; you pay the network fee it shows before you confirm. On the Monica side the fees are 0% conversion fee, 0% bank withdrawal fee, flat $2 deposit fee on Bitcoin only, free deposits on the other six coins. The fees page lists every one of them.

Limits

Minimum and verification

The minimum deposit is $5 worth of crypto, shown in the Monica app. Verification is NIN plus a selfie, done once before your first payout. Trust Wallet has no verification of its own because it is a self custody wallet; the checks happen on the Monica side where the naira is paid out.

Rate

What $1 in Trust Wallet becomes

Trust Wallet shows your balance in dollars at the market price, not in naira. The naira you receive is set by the live rate at the moment the network confirms your deposit. The Monica app and the rate calculator show that rate before you send, so you know the figure in advance.

Leg 03Questions

Questions people ask

How do I withdraw from Trust Wallet to a bank account in Nigeria?

Trust Wallet holds your coins but cannot pay naira to a bank by itself. Copy your Monica deposit address for the coin, send from Trust Wallet on the same network, and Monica pays the naira into your Nigerian bank account within 60 seconds of the network confirming. You do not need a P2P buyer or a swap.

Can I sell USDT held in Trust Wallet for naira?

Yes. Send the USDT from Trust Wallet to your Monica USDT address on a network Monica accepts, such as TRC20. Monica converts it at the live rate when the network confirms and pays the naira to your bank. There is no conversion fee and no bank withdrawal fee on the Monica side.

Which network should I choose when sending from Trust Wallet?

The one shown next to the address in the Monica app. Trust Wallet lists USDT on several networks as separate tokens, so pick the token whose network matches. If you are unsure, choose the same network in both apps and send a small test amount first. Coins sent on an unsupported network are often unrecoverable.

Does Trust Wallet charge a fee to send coins?

Trust Wallet does not add its own fee to a plain transfer. You pay the network fee, which Trust Wallet shows before you confirm and which comes out of the native coin of that chain: TRX for TRC20, BNB for BEP20, ETH for ERC20. Monica charges 0% to convert and 0% to pay out to your bank.

How do I get USDT out of Trust Wallet?

Tap USDT on the Trust Wallet home screen, tap Send, paste the receiving address, enter the amount and confirm. To turn it into naira, that receiving address is your Monica USDT address. Keep a small amount of the chain’s native coin in Trust Wallet to cover the network fee or the send will not go through.

How do I convert Bitcoin to naira on Trust Wallet?

Trust Wallet has no naira payout, so you send the BTC out. Copy your Monica Bitcoin address, tap Bitcoin in Trust Wallet, tap Send, paste the address and confirm. Bitcoin deposits on Monica carry a flat $2 fee; conversion and bank withdrawal are 0%. The payout follows the Bitcoin network confirming.

Can I transfer from Trust Wallet to Cash App?

Cash App is not offered in Nigeria, so it is not a route to a Nigerian bank account. The naira route is Trust Wallet to Monica to your bank: send the coin to your Monica address and the payout lands in any Nigerian bank on NIBSS, including OPay and Kuda, within 60 seconds of the network confirming.

What if I sent on the wrong network?

Email [email protected] with the transaction hash. Recovery is not always possible, which is why the network in Trust Wallet must match the one in Monica. A small test send costs little and avoids this. Trust Wallet itself cannot reverse a confirmed transfer either.
